The Wine & Food Experience
This class is focused on how foods and flavors can alter your preferences in wine. Also included will be lots of tips on becoming a skilled wine & food matchmaker.
PART ONE:
You will have three Pinot Noir wines in front of
you. One each from France, California, and Oregon. They
will be of the same vintage and price range. A basic
brown dipping sauce will be served with bread.
We'll add three elements to that sauce, one at a time. And ab-ra-ka-dab-rah! Watch your wine preferences
change before your very eyes…and palate! This experience can also be done with cheeses.
PART TWO:
A prepared dish will be served with
two additional wines to enjoy with the food.
PART THREE:
A Chocolate & Wine Experience!
We will talk the ins and outs of this tricky pairing, and add some overall ideas for pairing wine with desserts of all kinds.
